Grip Strength Activity

Breath + Visualization + Grip Strength Fusion — Understanding The Hand

~15 MIN HEADPHONES RECOMMENDED BINAURAL BEATS EMBEDDED
Before You Begin

Complete the Induction Relaxation and Screening Room Build activities first — this activity re-enters the screening room and strongbox you've already built, then fuses it with box breathing and a progressive grip test. This is also where the BLINK FACTOR cue is introduced for the first time.

Stage D — Enter Your Screening Room
▶ START THE GRIP STRENGTH ACTIVITY STAGE D–G AUDIO

Find a quiet place to sit or lie down where you will not be disturbed. Assume a comfortable body position that mitigates tension and close your eyes.

Visualize yourself appearing at the point where your daily life meets your mind's trail to the lobby just outside your screening room.

Begin walking the path to the lobby outside the door to your screening room.

Stand in front of your Vault or Strongbox. Open the lid.

Take your emotions and mood, your thoughts and beliefs, and place them all in the box. They can only serve to dilute or distract you, and you will not need them in the screening room.

Place them in the box now. Close the lid. Apply the locking mechanism.

Now open the door to your screening room as only you know how. Close and lock it behind you.

Walk to your viewing chair, couch, bed, or grassy hill, and assume a comfortable position.

Tilt your head just slightly up and back and say "Screen" as you sink into your relaxed posture and your screen comes to life with peaceful scenes, shapes, colors, or motions playing across it to a gentle background of music, waves, wind, forest sounds — whatever you find helps you relax and settle in.

Stage E — Foundational Breath

It is time to breathe using Box (Tactical) Breathing to a four-count.

INHALE · 4HOLD · 4EXHALE · 4HOLD · 4

Inhale slowly through the nose for a count of 4 (fill the lungs fully but without strain). Hold the breath for a count of 4 (keep the body relaxed; do not tense the throat or chest). Exhale slowly through the nose or mouth for a count of 4 (empty the lungs completely but gently). Hold empty for a count of 4 (again, stay relaxed).

Let's repeat the cycle:

Breathe in, and two, and three, and four. And exhale steadily, and two and three and four. And inhale again, through your nose, and three and four. And out, steady and controlled, and three and four.

Breathe diaphragmatically: the belly rises on the inhale and falls on the exhale.

Stage F — Integration: Breath + Visualization

Take your dominant hand and make a fist. Squeeze it as tightly as you can and hold it for 4 seconds.

Note The Number

How hard were you able to squeeze? Give it a number — was it a 6? A 10? Remember it.

Now return to the four-count breath — inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold empty 4 — and now it is time to breathe normally while you visualize.

Have the lights dim while a study of the human hand plays on your screen. This is a movie of your dominant hand. The camera angle changes and revolves around your hand as you admire it on the screen.

Your hand is one of the most extraordinary biomechanical and sensory marvels in existence — simultaneously capable of crushing force and microscopic precision, of power and delicacy, of communication and creation. Few structures in nature match its combination of strength, flexibility, sensitivity, and versatility.

The Wonder Of Your Hand
  • 27 bones — roughly a quarter of all the bones in the human body: 8 carpals in the wrist, 5 metacarpals forming the palm, 14 phalanges in the fingers and thumb. Connected by dozens of joints, stabilized by over 100 ligaments and tendons, and controlled by more than 30 muscles.
  • The fingers themselves contain no muscles — they're moved by remote control via long tendons from the forearm, plus smaller intrinsic muscles within the hand itself.
  • The thumb is controlled by nine dedicated muscles and can oppose all four fingers — enabling the precision grip (fingertip-to-thumb, for fine manipulation) and the power grip (palm and fingers, for force). No other primate matches this combination of a long, strong thumb with short, straight fingers.
  • The palm holds about 17,000 touch receptors and free nerve endings — fingertips are even more densely packed, among the most sensitive surfaces on the entire body.
  • Roughly a quarter of the brain's motor cortex is devoted to controlling the hands, with a disproportionate share of the sensory cortex dedicated to them too.
  • A single trained finger can support the entire body weight, as rock climbers demonstrate. The hand performs roughly 25 million flexion-extension cycles over a lifetime.
  • Aristotle called the hand "the instrument of instruments." Surgeons, engineers, and roboticists still struggle to replicate even a fraction of its capabilities.

Admire and marvel at the wonder of your hand as you view it on the screen, rotating around it and taking it in from every angle.

Stage G — Reset

Now it is time to reset. Take a deep cleansing breath in through your nose. As you exhale, feel a glowing, crisp, energetic blue light rippling around your feet and up into your ankles.

01

Inhale deeply again and move the light up through your calves and thighs.

02

Exhale. Allow the blue light to move through and activate your hips, stomach, and chest.

03

Breathe in once more, bringing the swirling energy of the blue light up through your neck, face, and to the top of your head, feeling it energize and empower you.

Open your eyes. Do you have a better appreciation for the miracle at the end of your arm? Hopefully so.

Stay in your comfortable place where you cannot be disturbed. Take a sip of water. Stretch. We are now going to re-enter your screening room, more quickly this time, and continue the activity with a few new empowering elements.

▶ GET READY TO START THE STAGE H–J AUDIO — BINAURAL BEATS + GUIDED VISUALIZATION
Stage H — Grip Strength + Breath / Bio Energy + Visualization Integration
▶ START THE GRIP STRENGTH ACTIVITY STAGE H–J AUDIO

Sit back. Take a deep cleansing breath. Exhale.

Once again, start your tactical box breathing to a four-count — inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold empty 4 — twice through. Then breathe normally while you visualize, diaphragmatically.

Envision yourself at your trail head and make rapid pace to your screening room door. No reason to use your strongbox this time — we're within the same exercise, and your unnecessary thoughts and emotions are still there. Simply open the door, lock it behind you, take a seat in front of your screen, and say "screen" while tilting your head up, ever so slightly.

Allow gentle images and music to play as you sink deeper into a state of tranquility and repose, breathing and visualizing that familiar soft white relaxing light coursing through your body as you shift to box breathing.

Breathe in, and two, and three, and four. And exhale steadily, and two and three and four. And inhale again, through your nose, and three and four. And out, steady and controlled, and three and four. Breathe diaphragmatically: the belly rises on the inhale and falls on the exhale.

Continue your four-count breathing but change your focus to your energy activation. Starting at the crown of your head, energize your body by replacing the soft gentle white light with the cascading flow and increasing intensity of the blue empowering light. With every inhale, increase the intensity of the blue light and quicken its circulating pace.

Continue this breathing and blue light energy circulation pattern unconsciously, and shift your awareness to your dominant hand.

Take your dominant hand and make a fist. Squeeze it as tightly as you can and hold it for 4 seconds, mapping it to the rate at which you are breathing.

Note The Number

How hard were you able to squeeze? Give it a number — was it a 6? A 10?

Now return to the four-count breath — inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold empty 4 — and visualize your breath pacing with the circulating, intense, and energizing blue light, filling your chest and permeating your entire body.

Exhale slowly through your nose for another four-count. Breathe in again — four-count. Fully experience the intense and electrifying blue light energy charging your nervous and muscular systems.

This time, visualize blocking all channels of the light's circulation with the exception of your dominant arm. Send that glowing blue light down the arm and into your hand — and squeeze your hand. Do not release the squeeze.

Breathe in again. Deeply through your nose. Four-count. Send the light down your arm and squeeze your hand harder.

And one final time: big, steady, deep nasal breath in — four-count. Light glowing blue in your chest, focused only on a path down your arm, into your palm and fingers… and squeeeeeeeeze! Don't release the hand. Keep it clutched, maintaining a steady and hard pressure.

Do it once more. Breathe in — one, two, three, four — glowing, blue, intense light, brighter with each hold count — one, two, three, four… and exhale, send it — send the blue-light-driven, glowing, intensifying energy — and squeeze even tighter. Twice as tight. Three times. Keep squeezing, like you were literally crushing granite or marble with your grip.

Note The Number

Is it harder than the test squeeze? How much so — twice? Three times? Five times? Was it a twenty? Perhaps even a thirty?

Stage I — Grip Strength + Breath / Bio Energy + Visualization + Cues Integration

Relax your hand. Again, focus on the space between your thoughts. Feel peace and calm. Be supple and flowing like water.

Repeat the visualization exercise, starting with a 3D encircling and admiration of your hand. Repeat the four-count breathing, the energy visualization, and squeezing exercise.

Inhale 4, hold 4, exhale 4, hold empty 4. Visualize your breath mapped and pacing with the circulating and piercing blue light, filling your chest and permeating your entire body. Exhale slowly for another four-count. Breathe in again, deeply and diaphragmatically — in, and two, and three, and four; and exhale steadily, and two and three and four.

With each breath see and feel that energizing and electrified blue light permeating and empowering literally the vibrating electrons that make up the atoms supporting the molecules that serve as the underlying structure to every blood cell, every nerve and muscle fiber. Glowing warm and intense. Pulsing.

Visualize blocking all channels of the light's circulation with the exception of your dominant arm. Send the blue light down the arm and into your hand — and squeeze your hand. Do not release the squeeze.

Breathe in again. Deeply through your nose. Four-count — two and three and four. Send the light down your arm and squeeze your hand harder.

Once more: in and two and three and four… squeeze… next time, as you approach the hardest you can possibly go — breathe once more and send that blue light as though it is backed up energy about to explode or overflow, and send it down the only path available to it, down your arm and into your hand, and squeeze just one bit tighter —

Create Your Cue — The Blink Factor

…and say the word "Blink" while blinking twice, fast. Do it now. Squeeze one last full-effort time, empowered by your drawing in and channeling of intense blue light, and say "Blink" while blinking twice.

Squeeeeeeeeze! Now relax.

Take a deep cleansing breath. Turn off your projector and screen. Let the lights come up. Walk to the door and open it. Close and lock it behind you.

Take whatever you wish to recover from your Vault. Close the lid. Walk down your path back to your daily life.

Breathe deeply with every step, allowing the energetic blue light to circulate up through your feet and ankles, into your knees and thighs, and up into your hips. Now rising into the trunk of your body, energizing you and increasing your vibrancy as it travels up your neck and into your face, to the top of your head, flowing out, cascading down around your entire body.

You are now in a strong, vibrant, highly focused, and enhanced state of awareness.

Open your eyes, feeling yourself imbued with optimized strength and vitality. Take a moment to come fully into the here and now. Have a sip of water and take in your surroundings.

Stage J — The Final Test

Squeeze your fist. Keep it closed. Do four Box Breaths.

Blink twice and say "Blink" internally (no sound) while sending your breath to your fist. Squeeze it tighter. Release.

Faster now, doing only one breath — in and then out, sending it to your hand. Now skip the two physical blinks. Just say "Blink" internally. Squeeze. Relax.

The Test

How much harder was that than the first test?

These techniques will be incorporated throughout the program to activate strength, stamina, and vitality, along with exercises of various levels of difficulty. Some, like the above, will be easy but will create a baseline platform and negotiated cooperation between your body, mind, and extracorporeal capabilities. Others will be quite arduous and challenging.

Welcome to the CRUCIBLE PROTOCOL and the BLINK FACTOR.
